I first came across Mervyn’s page on FB
And I wanted to do something special for myself for my birthday. And this is how I booked a session with him. Due to being at the end of the year, and mostly my busy schedule...we agreed to meet in January and during the 2 months I felt mixed emotions, sometimes excitement, sometimes asking myself: “why did I do that?!”
Until 2 days before the shoot where I was so nervous I couldn’t sleep. Reached out to Mervyn the evening before the shoot and he found the exact words that would calm me down.
The photoshoot itself was a piece of cake 😎
I realised that I was pretty confident in my body already. I believe the thing I was scared about was the result... I’ve never liked any recent pictures of me. So when Mervyn showed me a few pictures on his camera.. I was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to see them all
Mervyn is a talented and caring photographer with a hint of innocence that made me trust him in the first place. I would definitely recommend a photoshoot with him.
